RESILIENCE

The constantly moving sand, the “sands of time” enveloping the living trees, is a powerful reminder of resilience and fragility, life and death. Climate crises create isolation not only through physical loss, but also through perception. The scale of what is happening can feel too vast to grasp, too slow, too fast, too overwhelming. We become isolated from the crisis when it is reduced to data, spectacle, or abstraction, rather than experiencing it as something intimate, immediate, singular.
